Arnica is a plant locally found in cold and rocky regions mainly Eastern Europe. Arnica has been employed in various skin, hair and scalp related conditions for many decades.
Arnica oil has proven beneficial clinically for inflammation and injury to the skin, it has the property to alleviate inflammation and soreness in the skin and scalp as well thereby reducing injury to the hair follicles and also regulate the secretions of sebaceous glands. Arnica hair oil has multifold benefits in improving various hair conditions such as hair fall, dandruff, split ends, premature greying, inflammation and itching of the scalp
Arnica hair oil prevents from hair loss by clearing the debris and excessive oil from the hair follicles thereby strengthens the growth of hair from core and its anti-inflammatory effect reduces the healing time of injury to the scalp.
Arnica hair oil can be applied locally on the hairs and scalp by gentle massage (the oil must not be ingested) and kept overnight for best results as it will provide ample time for the beneficial effects of Arnica to take place.
A little quantity of lukewarm water can also be mixed with oil to make it easy to apply on the hairs and scalp and maximize the effects as this will enhance the absorption of the oil deeper in the hair follicles and scalp. The hair must then be washed thoroughly using the suitable shampoo or conditioner to remove the excess oil.
Generally it is very safe to apply Arnica hair oil on hairs and scalp but if someone experiences the following side effects in case of allergy to the herb than the hairs must be washed immediately with shampoo to remove the oil.
