A Legacy of Firsts
Over four decades, Kamal Laboratories has repeatedly been the first to bring new standards, tools, and practices to homoeopathic medicine in Pakistan.
Setting Standards Since 1967
Being “different” isn’t a slogan for us — it’s a pattern that shows up across decades of decisions, many of which put Kamal Laboratories first in the country to do something the homoeopathic sector hadn’t tried before.
- Introduced effective homoeopathic compound brands starting in 1967, helping make homoeopathic practice easier and more trustworthy for physicians and patients alike.
- The first homoeopathic organization to launch ethical clinical practices through a qualified medical field force — bringing a level of professional structure to physician outreach that hadn’t existed in the sector before.
- Since 1999, we’ve run Continued Medical Education (CME) programs through the first qualified medical field force deployed nationwide in Pakistan — also ensuring Continued Professional Development (CPD) for practitioners.
- The first to launch a qualified homoeopathic medical field force in Pakistan, starting in 1999.
- In 2001, we adopted ISO 9001 certification for quality manufacturing — becoming the first homoeopathic organization in Pakistan to be honoured with this standard.
- The first to introduce the K-Tronic Potentizer in Pakistan, ensuring consistent, quality manufacturing of homoeopathic dilutions (potencies).
- The first and only homoeopathic pharmaceutical organization sourcing 60% of its medicinal herbs from its own cultivation, rather than relying solely on external suppliers.
- The only homoeopathic pharmaceutical company cultivating 116 herbs in its own medicinal garden.
Building the Profession, One Conference at a Time
Since 2005, Kamal Laboratories has hosted Kamal Family Conferences, bringing together homoeopaths from across Pakistan. In 2013, this grew into a dedicated initiative: Branding Homoeopathy Through Physicians’ Skills — a structured effort by our Department of CME & CPD to strengthen the relationship between physician, pharmacy, and patient.
In 2013 alone, we ran 12 conferences across Pakistan focused specifically on the professional development of homoeopathic physicians, drawing more than 2,000 participating homoeopaths. The following year, our CME/CPD department conducted 13 more educational conferences — bringing the combined total to 25 conferences and over 4,000 homoeopaths reached nationwide.
Small Traditions That Stuck
Not everything on this list is a certification or a conference. Some of it is simpler — small, first-of-their-kind gestures aimed at building genuine goodwill with the physicians and store owners we work alongside every day.
- Introduced named key chains as a gift for homoeopathic physicians.
- The first pocket-sized gift designed to be kept close — meant, quite literally, to stay near the people who use it.
- Introduced the gift of tissue papers for homoeopathic practitioners — the first of its kind in the sector.
- Introduced the gift of dates for homoeopaths.
- Introduced Sharbat-e-Kamal as a Ramzan gift, a tradition unique to Kamal Laboratories.
- Introduced named stamps as a gift for store keepers.
- Introduced wall clocks personalized with the names of stores and doctors.
