The Founder
A legacy that began with one person’s devotion to homoeopathy — and continues today through three generations of the same family.
Dr. Qureshi — Pioneer of Homoeopathy in Pakistan
Dr. Qureshi was among the pioneers of homoeopathic medicine in Pakistan, devoting his life to uncovering the medicinal powers of plants and herbs native to the country. He is also credited with discovering several additional remedies for different conditions using homoeopathic methods.
He spent his life experimenting with homoeopathic herbs while traveling throughout Pakistan, laying the foundation for the next generation to explore their own sources — especially the collection of herbs. He also introduced Kamal Laboratories’ researched products on a therapeutic basis, benefiting thousands of homoeopaths and helping the practice of homoeopathy evolve in Pakistan.
The Successors
In 1979, after the demise of the founder, his elder son Prof. Parvez Akhtar Qureshi — a homoeopath in his own right — took over the mission of welfare and service to ailing humanity.
He represented Pakistan across Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, working alongside fellow homoeopaths to add to the extensive collection of knowledge and research in the field.
Prof. Qureshi placed special focus on homoeopathic education for existing and future homoeopaths through the departments of Continued Medical Education (CME) and Continued Professional Development (CPD), continuing the legacy of research and innovation. He led this work under the initiative “Branding Homoeopathy Through Physicians’ Skills.”
Three generations, serving homoeopathy
From the founder to the generations that followed, Kamal Laboratories has now stepped into its third generation of serving the field of homoeopathy.
